🧾 Ingredients
Cheesecake filling

225 g (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

½ cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract
Strawberry layer
-
1 cup fresh strawberries, finely chopped

2 tbsp sugar
-
1 tsp lemon juice
Rolls
-
8–10 slices white sandwich bread (crusts removed)
or tortillas / thin crepes as an alternative -
¼ cup melted butter
Coating
-
½ cup crushed vanilla wafers or graham crackers

2 tbsp sugar
👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Prepare the strawberries

Mix chopped strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice.

Let sit 10 minutes, then lightly mash.

Drain excess juice so the rolls don’t get soggy.
2️⃣ Make the cheesecake filling

In a bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth and fluffy.
3️⃣ Flatten the bread

Use a rolling pin to flatten each slice of bread into a thin rectangle.
4️⃣ Assemble

Spread a thin layer of cheesecake filling on each slice.

Add a spoonful of strawberries.

Roll tightly into a log.
5️⃣ Coat

Brush each roll with melted butter.

Roll in the crushed wafer + sugar mixture.
6️⃣ Cook (choose one)
Pan-fry (best flavor):

Cook rolls in a non-stick pan over medium heat.

Turn until golden on all sides (about 8–10 minutes).
OR Oven:

Bake at 180°C / 350°F for 10–12 minutes until golden.
