Ingredients:
• 2 large apples, peeled and diced
• 2 cups mini pretzels, crushed
• 1 cup caramel sauce
• 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
• 1 tbsp butter
• 1 tsp ground cinnamon
• ¼ cup brown sugar
Method:
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a mini muffin pan.
2. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the diced apples, cinnamon, and brown sugar. Cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples are tender and lightly caramelized.
3. In a bowl, mix the crushed pretzels with the shredded cheddar cheese.
4. Divide the pretzel and cheese mixture evenly among the mini muffin cups, pressing gently to form a base.
5. Spoon the caramelized apples over each pretzel base, then drizzle generously with caramel sauce.
6. Bake for 10–12 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the edges are golden.
7. Let the bites cool for a few minutes before carefully removing them from the pan. Serve warm for the best gooey, sweet-and-salty flavor. ![]()
