Macaroni Salad

Ingredients:

2 cups elbow macaroni
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons yellow mustard
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup celery, finely chopped
1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup diced pickles or relish
2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped

Instructions:

Cook the macaroni according to package directions until tender. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool completely.
In a large bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, mustard, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
Add the cooled macaroni, celery, red onion, pickles, and chopped eggs to the bowl.
Stir everything together until well coated with the dressing.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to blend.
Serve chilled as a classic Southern-style side dish perfect for picnics and gatherings.
