Fried BBQ Chicken Bites
Ingredients:
1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Vegetable oil for frying
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
Instructions:
Place the chicken pieces in a bowl with the buttermilk and let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
In another bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Remove the chicken from the buttermilk and coat each piece well in the seasoned flour mixture.
Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or fryer over medium-high heat. Fry the chicken bites in batches for about 4–5 minutes until golden brown, crispy, and fully cooked.
Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil. Toss the warm chicken bites in barbecue sauce until evenly coated. Serve hot.
