Garlic Butter Shrimp

Garlic Butter Shrimp (10–15 minutes)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) shrimp, peeled & deveined

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • Salt & black pepper (to taste)

  • ½ tsp paprika or chili flakes (optional)

  • Juice of ½ lemon

  • Fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat shrimp dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika/chili flakes.

  2. Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Add olive oil + butter.

  3. Add garlic and sauté 30 seconds (don’t burn it).

  4. Add shrimp in a single layer.

  5. Cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink and slightly golden.

  6. Squeeze lemon juice over shrimp, toss once, and remove from heat.

  7. Sprinkle parsley and serve immediately.

Serve With

  • Rice or pasta

  • Crusty bread

  • Over salad

  • In tacos 🌮
