🦞 Garlic Butter Lobster-Filled Jumbo Pasta Shells
Ingredients:
-
12 jumbo pasta shells
-
1½ cups cooked lobster meat, chopped
-
3 tbsp butter
-
3 cloves garlic, minced
-
½ cup ricotta cheese
-
½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese (plus extra for topping)
-
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
-
2 tbsp chopped parsley
-
Salt and black pepper, to taste
-
Juice of ½ lemon
Instructions:
-
Cook the pasta: Boil the jumbo shells in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
-
Make the garlic butter: In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
-
Add the lobster: Stir in the lobster meat, season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice, and cook for 2–3 minutes until heated through. Remove from heat.
-
Prepare the filling: In a bowl, combine the lobster mixture with ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, and parsley. Mix gently until well blended.
-
Stuff the shells: Spoon the lobster filling into each cooked pasta shell and place them in a lightly greased baking dish.
-
Top & bake: Sprinkle extra mozzarella on top and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15–20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden.
-
Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and a squeeze of lemon. Serve warm with a side of garlic bread or a crisp salad.
Chef’s Tip:
For an extra indulgent touch, drizzle a little melted garlic butter over the shells right before serving.
