FAMOUS RED LOBSTER SHRIMP

I made this last Tuesday after the longest day at work, and I swear the smell of garlic butter hitting that hot skillet almost made me cry. My husband walked in from the garage, stopped mid-step, and just said “What did I do to deserve you?”
There’s something about shrimp swimming in real butter and garlic that just fixes everything. This tastes exactly like those fancy restaurant appetizers, but you’re making it in your own kitchen in literally 10 minutes. The lemon brightens everything up, and that Italian seasoning adds this perfect little herby warmth that makes it feel special without any effort.
I served mine over pasta because I couldn’t let that buttery garlic sauce go to waste, but honestly? I’ve also just eaten this straight from the skillet with crusty bread. No judgment here.
**INGREDIENTS:**
• 1 lb large shrimp (peeled and deveined, tails on)
• ½ cup softened butter
• ½ fresh lemon, juiced
• 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• ¼ teaspoon salt
• Black pepper to taste
**INSTRUCTIONS:**
1. Pat the shrimp completely dry with paper towels so they get a nice sear.
2. In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, lemon juice, Italian seasoning, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until smooth.
3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add half the butter mixture.
4. Once the butter starts sizzling and smells deeply garlicky, add the shrimp in a single layer.
5. Cook for 2 minutes on one side until they start turning pink and golden at the edges.
6. Flip the shrimp and add the remaining butter mixture to the pan.
7. Cook another 2 minutes until the shrimp are fully pink, opaque, and curled into a C-shape.
8. Remove from heat immediately and spoon that glossy butter sauce all over the shrimp.
Serve this over pasta, rice, or with warm bread to soak up every drop of that sauce.
Be honest… would you share this or just hide in the kitchen and eat it yourself?
