🥩 Ingredients
- 500 g beef steak (thinly sliced – ribeye is best)
- 1 large onion (sliced)
- 1 green bell pepper (optional, sliced)
- 4 sandwich rolls (hoagie or baguette)
- 8 slices cheese (Provolone, mozzarella, or cheddar)
- 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
- Salt & black pepper
- Optional: mushroom
👨🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Cook the vegetables
- Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan
- Add onions (and peppers/mushrooms if using)
- Cook until soft and slightly caramelized
- Remove and set aside
2️⃣ Cook the beef
- In the same pan, add remainng oil
- Cook the thin beef slices on high heat
- Season with salt & pepper
- Cook quickly (2–3 minutes max so it stays tender)
3️⃣ Combine & add cheese
- Add veggies back to the pan
- Mix everything together
- Place cheese slices on top
- Let it melt nicely over the meat
4️⃣ Assemble the sandwich
- Lightly toast your bread
- Fill with the cheesy meat mixture
- Serve hot 🔥
