Fried Green Beans
Ingredients:
1 pound fresh green beans
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cornmeal
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions:
Place the green beans in buttermilk and let soak for 10 minutes.
Mix flour, cornmeal, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
Remove beans from buttermilk and dredge in the flour mixture.
Fry in hot oil at 350°F for 2 to 3 minutes until crispy. Drain and serve hot.
