Deviled Eggs

Deviled Eggs

Ingredients:

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon pickle relish
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Paprika for garnish
  • Chopped chives or parsley for garnish


Instructions:

Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.

Once boiling, cover the pan, remove it from the heat, and let the eggs sit for 10–12 minutes.

Drain the hot water and transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water. Let them cool completely.

Peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise.

Carefully remove the yolks and place them in a bowl. Mash the yolks with a fork until smooth.

Add the mayonnaise, mustard, pickle relish, salt, and black pepper. Mix until creamy.

Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.

Sprinkle with paprika and garnish with chopped chives or parsley.

Chill before serving for the best flavor.
