🍌 Banana Bread Cake
🧾 Ingredients
Dry:

2 cups (250 g) all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking soda

½ tsp salt
-
1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
Wet:

½ cup (115 g) unsalted butter, melted
-
¾ cup (150 g) sugar (white or brown — brown makes it extra moist)

2 large eggs
-
1 tsp vanilla extract
-
4 ripe bananas, mashed (about 1½ cups)

½ cup (120 ml) milk or yogurt or sour cream
Optional add-ins:

½ cup chopped walnuts
-
½ cup chocolate chips
🧁 Instructions

Preheat oven to 175°C / 350°F
Grease a 9×9 inch pan or line with parchment paper. -
In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon.

In another bowl, mix melted butter + sugar until glossy.

Beat in eggs, then add vanilla.

Mix in mashed bananas and milk/yogurt.

Gently fold in the dry ingredients until just combined.
(Do not overmix) -
Fold in any nuts or chocolate chips.

Pour batter into pan and smooth top.

Bake 35–45 minutes
until a toothpick comes out clean. -
Cool completely before slicing.
🧈 Optional Cream Cheese Frosting (for “cake” style)

100 g cream cheese, softened
-
2 tbsp butter, softened
-
1 cup powdered sugar
-
1 tsp vanilla
Beat until fluffy and spread on cooled cake.
