Ingredients (2–3 servings)
Base

1 large bag frozen fries (waffle, steak-cut, or crinkle)

1 tbsp Cajun seasoning

1 tbsp oil (optional)
Beef Layer

200–250 g ground beef
-
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
-
1 tsp paprika
-
½ small onion, diced
-
Salt & pepper to taste
Shrimp Layer
-
150–200 g shrimp, peeled & deveined
-
1 tbsp butter
-
1 tsp Cajun seasoning
-
2 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 tsp lemon juice
Cheese Sauce
-
1 tbsp butter
-
1 tbsp flour
-
1 cup milk
-
1 cup shredded cheddar or Tex-Mex cheese
-
½ tsp Cajun seasoning
Optional Toppings
-
Sour cream
-
Green onions
-
Jalapeños
-
Diced tomatoes
-
Fresh parsley
-
Hot sauce (Louisiana-style is best)
Instructions
1. Cook the Fries
-
Bake or air-fry your fries until crispy.
-
Season immediately with Cajun seasoning.
2. Cook the Beef
-
Heat a pan, add a little oil.
-
Cook onions until soft.
-
Add ground beef and break it up.
-
Season with Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt & pepper.
-
Cook until browned and slightly crispy.
-
Set aside.
3. Cook the Shrimp
-
In the same pan, melt butter.
-
Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
-
Add shrimp with Cajun seasoning and lemon juice.
-
Cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink.
-
Remove from heat.
4. Make the Cheese Sauce
-
Melt butter in a small saucepan.
-
Add flour and whisk 30 seconds.
-
Slowly pour in milk, whisking until smooth.
-
Add cheese and Cajun seasoning.
-
Stir until thick and creamy.
5. Assemble the Nacho Fries
-
Place the fries on a large platter.
-
Top with cooked beef.
-
Add the buttery Cajun shrimp.
-
Pour the cheese sauce all over.
-
Finish with your favorite toppings:
