🔥 Cajun Pasta Be Poppin’
Ingredients

2 tbsp butter
-
1 tbsp olive oil
-
1 lb chicken breast, sliced (or shrimp/sausage)

2 tbsp Cajun seasoning (divided)
-
1 red bell pepper, sliced
-
1 green bell pepper, sliced
-
1 small onion, sliced
-
3 cloves garlic, minced
-
2 cups heavy cream
-
1 cup chicken broth
-
1 cup grated Parmesan
-
8 oz penne or fettuccine
-
Salt & pepper to taste
-
Optional: red pepper flakes, parsley, extra Cajun seasoning
Instructions
1. Cook the Pasta
Boil pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
2. Season the Protein
Toss chicken (or shrimp/sausage) with 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning.
3. Sauté
Heat butter + olive oil in a large skillet.
Cook chicken until browned and cooked through.
Remove and set aside.
4. Cook the Veggies
In the same skillet, add peppers, onion, and garlic.
Cook until slightly softened and fragrant.
5. Make the Sauce
Add:

Heavy cream
-
Chicken broth
-
Parmesan
-
Remaining 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
Simmer until thick and creamy (about 5 minutes).
6. Combine
Add chicken back in, then toss in cooked pasta.
Stir until everything is coated and POPPIN’ with flavor.
7. Serve
Top with:

Extra Parmesan

Parsley
-
Red pepper flakes
-
A dash more Cajun seasoning (if you like it HOT)
