BBQ Baby Back Ribs
Ingredients:
2 racks baby back pork ribs, about 2 kg (4½ lb) total
2 tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tsp smoked paprika
1½ tsp garlic powder
1½ tsp onion powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1½ cups BBQ sauce
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp melted butter
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 150°C (300°F). Line a large baking sheet with foil.
Remove the thin membrane from the back of the ribs and pat them dry.
Rub the ribs with olive oil. Mix the brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and cumin, then rub evenly over both sides.
Place the ribs meat-side up on the baking sheet and cover tightly with foil.
Bake for 2½–3 hours, until the ribs are very tender.
Mix the BBQ sauce, honey, apple cider vinegar, and melted butter. Brush a generous layer over the ribs.
Increase the oven to 220°C (425°F) and bake uncovered for 10–15 minutes, until the BBQ glaze is sticky and caramelized.
Rest for 10 minutes, slice between the bones, garnish with parsley, and serve with extra BBQ sauce.
