Slow Cooker Garlic Butter Beef Bites
Ingredients:
900 g (2 lb) beef chuck, cut into bite-sized cubes
1 tbsp olive oil
5 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
6 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup beef broth
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp cold water
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Directions:
Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.
Season the beef with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Brown for 2–3 minutes per side.
Transfer the beef to the slow cooker and add the minced garlic.
Pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, then place 4 tablespoons butter over the beef.
Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until the beef is fork-tender.
Mix the cornstarch with cold water and stir it into the slow cooker. Add the remaining tablespoon of butter.
Cover and cook on HIGH for another 10–15 minutes, until the garlic butter sauce thickens slightly.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles.
