Ingredients
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp dry yeast
- 1 tbsp oil
- 4–4.5 cups flour
- 50 g butter + a little oil
Optional: ricotta and parsley
Topping: egg yolk + milk or oil

- Mix warm water, milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit 5–10 minutes.
- Add salt, oil, and flour gradually to form a soft dough.
- Knead 5–7 minutes, then cover and let rise 1 hour.
- Roll dough and cut into circles. Add filling if desired.
- Let rise again 20–30 minutes.
- Brush with egg wash and bake at 180°C for 15–20 minutes.
- Brush with melted butter after baking.
Tips
Use lukewarm liquids and keep the dough soft for best texture.
