๐ Buttered Noodles
Ingredients:

8 oz pasta (egg noodles, spaghetti, or your choice)

3 tbsp unsalted butter

Salt, to taste

Black pepper, to taste

2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Pinch of garlic powder (optional)
Instructions:

Cook the pasta:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook according to package directions until al dente. -
Drain and reserve:
Drain the pasta, reserving about ยผ cup of pasta water. -
Butter the noodles:
In the same pot (or a clean skillet), melt the butter over medium heat. Add the drained noodles and toss to coat evenly. Add a splash of the reserved pasta water to help the butter cling to the noodles. -
Season:
Season with salt, black pepper, and Parmesan cheese. For extra flavor, sprinkle in chopped parsley or a pinch of garlic powder. -
Serve:
Serve hot as a side dish or light main course
