Ingredients:

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • Juice of ½ lemon (plus extra for serving)

  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Prep the shrimp: Pat shrimp dry with paper towels and season lightly with salt and pepper.

  2. Cook the garlic: In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds to 1 minute, until fragrant.

  3. Add the shrimp: Place shrimp in the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side, or until pink and opaque.

  4. Finish the dish: Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the shrimp and toss to coat.

  5. Garnish and serve: Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
