Sweet and Tangy Kielbasa Bites

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds kielbasa sausage, sliced into ½-inch pieces

  • 1 cup barbecue sauce

  • ¾ cup brown sugar

  • ½ cup pineapple juice (or orange juice)

  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard (or yellow mustard for milder flavor)

  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes for a little heat

Instructions

🥣 1. Make the Sauce

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together barbecue sauce, brown sugar, pineapple juice, mustard, vinegar, and garlic powder until smooth.

🍳 2. Combine & Cook

Slow Cooker Method:

  • Add sliced kielbasa and sauce to your slow cooker.

  • Stir to coat evenly.

  • Cook on LOW for 3–4 hours or HIGH for 1½–2 hours, until hot and bubbly.

Stovetop Method:

  • Combine kielbasa and sauce in a large skillet.

  • Simmer over medium heat for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens and caramelizes slightly.

  • Transfer to a serving dish or keep warm in the slow cooker.

  • Serve with toothpicks — perfect for party snacking!
