Ingredients

1 can (15 oz) pecan pie filling (or use 1 cup corn syrup + 1 cup chopped pecans + 2 eggs + 1 cup brown sugar if you can’t find it)

1 can (14–15 oz) evaporated milk

4 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 box yellow cake mix
-
1 cup chopped pecans
-
1 cup butter, melted (2 sticks)
Instructions
1. Prep

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Grease a 9×13 baking dish.
2. Make the pecan layer
In a mixing bowl, whisk together:

Pecan pie filling
-
Evaporated milk
-
Eggs
-
Vanilla extract
Pour this mixture into the prepared baking dish.
3. Add cake mix

Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the pecan mixture—don’t stir.
4. Add pecans & butter

Sprinkle the chopped pecans evenly over the cake mix.

Drizzle the melted butter over the entire top, trying to cover as much of the dry mix as possible.
5. Bake

Bake 50–60 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
6. Cool & serve

Let it cool at least 20–30 minutes to set.

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
