Baked Crab Legs in Butter Sauce-

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs crab legs (snow crab or king crab)

  • 1 cup unsalted butter (melted)

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning (optional but recommended)

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven

    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Prepare Butter Sauce

    • In a bowl, combine:

      • Melted butter

      • Minced garlic

      • Lemon juice

      • Old Bay seasoning

      • Paprika

      • Salt & pepper

    • Mix well until smooth.

  3. Arrange Crab Legs

    • Place crab legs on a baking sheet.

    • Brush generously with the butter sauce.

    • If desired, crack the shells slightly so the sauce seeps inside.

  4. Bake

    • Cover the baking sheet with foil.

    • Bake for 20–25 minutes.

    • Remove foil and bake an additional 5 minutes to lightly brown.

  5. Serve

    • Brush with extra butter sauce.

    • Garnish with chopped parsley.

    • Serve with lemon wedges and small dipping bowls of leftover butter sauce.

Tips

  • For spicier crab legs, add ½ tsp cayenne pepper or a dash of hot sauce to the butter mix.

  • If you prefer, steam or boil crab legs first, then bake briefly with the sauce for extra flavor
