Cheesy Loaded Tortilla Wrap
Ingredients:
2 large tortillas
1–2 cups of French fries (fried or baked)
1 cup of cooked chicken (grilled, fried or shredded)
1 cup of shredded cheese (mozzarella or a mix)
3–4 tbsp garlic sauce or mayonnaise
2 tbsp ketchup (optional)
1 teaspoon paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste.
Optional extras: chopped onions, pickles or hot sauce.
Instructions:
1. Prepare the filling.
Cook your fries until crispy.
Season the chicken with salt, pepper, paprika and garlic powder.
Cook or reheat the chicken until hot.
2. Assemble the tortilla.
Lay one tortilla flat.
Add a layer of chicken to the centre.
Top with fries.
Drizzle with garlic sauce and ketchup.
Sprinkle with a generous amount of shredded cheese.
3. Wrap it up!
Fold the sides inwards, then roll or fold it into a rectangular pocket (as shown in the image).
You can place it in parchment paper to help it keep its shape.
4. Bake or pan-cook.
Option 1 (oven):
Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 10–15 minutes until the cheese has melted.
Option 2 (pan):
Cook in a frying pan over a medium heat, pressing down slightly, until golden and crispy on both sides.
Tips:
Add spicy sauce if you like it hot.
Use beef instead of chicken for a different flavour.
