 Ingredients

For the Shrimp:

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted  butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons  olive oil
  • 4 cloves  garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

For the Topping:

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

 Instructions

Step 1: Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish with cooking spray or olive oil.

Step 2: Season the Shrimp
In a large bowl, combine shrimp, melted butter, olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper. Toss well to coat evenly.

Step 3: Arrange in Baking Dish
Spread the seasoned shrimp in a single layer in the prepared baking dish.

Step 4: Mix the Topping
In a small bowl, stir together the Parmesan cheesepanko breadcrumbs, and chopped parsley.

Step 5: Top the Shrimp
Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the shrimp.

Step 6: Bake
Bake uncovered for 12–15 minutes, or until shrimp are pink and opaque, and the topping is lightly golden and crisp.

Step 7: Serve
Remove from oven and let rest for a few minutes. Serve hot with lemon wedges and your favorite side dish—pasta, rice, or a fresh salad.
