🍞 20-Minute Homemade Bread (No Yeast)
🛒 Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon baking powder

1 teaspoon sugar (optional)

½ teaspoon salt

1 cup milk

2 tablespoons oil or melted butter
👩🍳 Instructions

Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
Lightly grease a small baking pan or line it with parchment paper. -
Mix dry ingredients
In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. -
Add wet ingredients
Stir in milk and oil (or melted butter). Mix until a soft dough forms.
Do not overmix — just until combined. -
Shape the dough
Transfer to a lightly floured surface. Gently shape into a round loaf (about 1–1½ inches thick).
Place on prepared pan.
Optional: Cut a shallow “X” on top for even baking. -
Bake
Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. -
Cool slightly & enjoy!
Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing.
