🧾 Ingredients

4–6 boneless skinless chicken breasts

1 cup uncooked long-grain white rice

1 can cream of chicken soup

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1 packet Lipton onion soup mix
-
1½ cups water or chicken broth
-
1 tbsp butter (optional but very good)

Black pepper (optional)
🧑🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat & Layer
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
Grease a 9×13 baking dish.
Spread uncooked rice evenly in the dish.
2️⃣ Make the Magic Sauce
In a bowl, mix:

Cream of chicken soup
-
Cream of mushroom soup
-
Water (or broth)
Pour over the rice.
3️⃣ Add Chicken
Lay chicken breasts on top of the mixture.
Sprinkle the onion soup mix over everything.
Dot with butter if using.
Add a little pepper if you like.
4️⃣ Cover & Forget It
Cover tightly with foil.
Bake for 1 hour 15 minutes
DO NOT OPEN during baking — the steam cooks the rice perfectly.
5️⃣ Serve
Remove foil.
Fluff rice, spoon sauce over chicken, and serve hot.
