Gavros Tiganitos (Fried Anchovies)
Crispy, golden anchovies with a squeeze of lemon โ the ultimate Greek seaside meze!

Ingredients
โข Fresh anchovies โ 500 g (cleaned)
โข Flour โ 100 g
โข Olive oil (for frying)
โข Lemon โ for serving
โข Salt

Instructions

Rinse anchovies, pat dry, and lightly salt them.
Coat with flour, shaking off the excess.

Heat olive oil in a frying pan.

Fry anchovies in batches for 2โ3 minutes per side, until golden.

Drain on paper towels and serve with lemon wedges.
