🥧 Pecan Dandy Do’s
Ingredients
For the crust:

2 cups all-purpose flour

½ cup powdered sugar

1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
For the filling:

¾ cup light corn syrup
-
¾ cup brown sugar, packed
-
2 large eggs
-
3 tablespoons butter, melted
-
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups chopped pecans
Instructions

Preheat oven:
Set oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper. -
Make the crust:

In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, powdered sugar, and softened butter until crumbly.

Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.

Bake for 15–18 minutes, until lightly golden.

Remove from oven and set aside (keep oven on).

Make the filling:

In a large bowl, whisk together corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.

Stir in the chopped pecans.

Assemble and bake:

Pour the pecan mixture evenly over the pre-baked crust.

Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the filling is set and slightly bubbly around the edges.

Cool and cut:

Let cool completely in the pan before cutting into bars or squares.
