Spicy seared chicken with sautéed asparagus and peppers.
Juicy, well-seasoned chicken breast, tender asparagus, and sweet sautéed peppers and onions. It’s bold, colourful and bursting with flavour — perfect for a protein-packed lunch or dinner!

Ingredients:
For the spicy chicken:
1 large chicken breast, sliced after cooking
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp chilli powder or cayenne
1 tsp garlic powder
½ teaspoon of onion powder
½ teaspoon black pepper
Salt to taste.
Optional: 1 tsp lemon juice
For the asparagus and peppers:
1 bunch of trimmed asparagus
½ red bell pepper, sliced
½ green bell pepper, sliced
½ yellow bell pepper, sliced
½ onion, sliced
1 tablespoon of olive oil
½ tsp paprika
½ teaspoon of garlic powder
Salt and pepper
Directions:
Cook the chicken.
Mix the seasoning spices with olive oil.
Rub all over the chicken breast.
Pan-sear on a medium-high heat for 5–6 minutes on each side until browned and juicy.
Leave to rest, then slice.
Sauté the asparagus and peppers.
Heat the olive oil in a pan.
Add the onions and peppers and sauté for three minutes.
Add the asparagus, paprika, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
Cook for 6–7 minutes until tender but still bright.
Assemble the plate.
Serve the sliced chicken alongside a generous portion of the asparagus and pepper stir-fry.
Spoon any pan juices over the chicken for extra flavour.
