Ingredients
For the Pork Chops:

4 boneless or bone-in pork chops (about 1 inch thick)

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon paprika

½ teaspoon onion powder

2 tablespoons olive oil
For the Garlic Butter Sauce:

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh thyme (or ½ teaspoon dried)

½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

1 tablespoon chopped parsley (for garnish)

½ cup chicken broth (optional, for extra sauce)
Instructions

Prepare the Pork Chops:

Pat pork chops dry with paper towels.

Season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and onion powder.

Sear the Pork Chops:

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add pork chops and sear for 3–4 minutes per side, until golden brown and nearly cooked through.

Remove chops from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:

Reduce heat to medium.

In the same skillet, add butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds, until fragrant.

Stir in thyme and red pepper flakes (if using).

For a saucier dish, add chicken broth and simmer for 1–2 minutes.

Combine and Finish:

Return pork chops to the skillet and spoon the garlic butter sauce over them.

Simmer for another 2–3 minutes, or until pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
