🍊 Instructions
1. Make the Cranberry Compote
-
In a saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, orange juice, and zest.
-
Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
-
Cook 8–10 minutes until berries burst and mixture thickens slightly.
-
Let cool completely.
(It will thicken more as it cools.)
2. Prepare the Cream
-
In a bowl, beat heavy cream to stiff peaks.
-
In another bowl, mix mascarpone, powdered sugar, vanilla, and zest until smooth.
-
Fold whipped cream gently into mascarpone mixture until light and airy.
3. Assemble the Tiramisu
-
Quickly dip ladyfingers in orange juice (don’t soak—just a fast dip!).
-
Arrange a single layer in a baking dish or trifle bowl.
-
Spread half the mascarpone cream over the ladyfingers.
-
Spread half the cranberry compote on top.
-
Repeat layers: ladyfingers → cream → cranberry compote.
