How To Clean Tile Grout

ngredients:

  • 7 cups of water

  • 1/2 cup of baking soda

  • 1/3 cup of lemon juice

  • 1/4 cup of white vinegar

Instructions:

  1. Mix the Solution: In a bowl or large container, combine the water, baking soda, lemon juice, and vinegar. Stir until the baking soda dissolves completely.

  2. Transfer to a Spray Bottle: Pour the mixture into a spray bottle for easy application.

  3. Spray the Grout: Lightly spray the grout lines on your tile floor or wall. Make sure you cover all the grout areas you want to clean.

  4. Let it Sit: Allow the solution to sit for about 1-2 minutes so it can break down any grime and dirt in the grout.

  5. Scrub: Using a toothbrush or a small grout brush, scrub the grout lines in a circular motion to lift out the dirt. Focus on areas with heavy stains or buildup.

  6. Wipe Clean: Once you’ve scrubbed all the grout lines, use a clean cloth or sponge to wipe away the solution and any loosened grime.

  7. Rinse: If needed, rinse the area with water to remove any leftover cleaner.

Tips for Best Results:

  • For extra tough stains, try letting the mixture sit longer before scrubbing.

  • Use a toothbrush for more precision if you’re cleaning small grout lines.

  • Wear gloves if you have sensitive skin, as the vinegar and lemon juice can be a bit harsh
