🧈 Butter Swim Biscuits
🛒 Ingredients

½ cup (1 stick) butter

2½ cups all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon sugar

1 tablespoon baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

1¾ cups buttermilk
(or 1¾ cups milk + 1½ tbsp vinegar/lemon juice)
🔥 Instructions

Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C)

Melt butter in an 8×8 or 9×9 baking dish
(place dish in oven while preheating) -
In a bowl, whisk together:

flour
-
sugar
-
baking powder
-
salt
-

Stir in buttermilk until just combined
(dough will be very wet — that’s perfect) -
Pour dough directly into the melted butter
Do not stir. -
Use a knife to score into 9 squares

Bake 20–25 minutes until top is golden brown

Rest 5 minutes, then serve warm 💛
