Ingredients

Stir-Fry

  • 1 lb flank steak or sirloin, thin-sliced against the grain

  • 3 cups broccoli florets

  • 2 tbsp oil

Marinade

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Sauce

  • Β½ cup beef broth

  • 3 tbsp soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional but amazing)

  • 1 tsp ginger, minced

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Marinate beef
    Toss beef with marinade. Let sit 10 minutes.

  2. Blanch broccoli
    Boil 1 minute β†’ drain β†’ rinse cold. Set aside.

  3. Sear beef
    Heat oil in hot skillet or wok.
    Sear beef in batches, 1–2 min per side. Remove.

  4. Build sauce
    In same pan, add garlic & ginger (20 sec).
    Whisk sauce ingredients, pour in.

  5. Thicken
    Simmer until glossy, ~1 minute.

  6. Combine
    Add beef + broccoli. Toss until coated.

Serve With

Steamed rice 🍚 β€’ noodles 🍜 β€’ cauliflower rice
