🧄 Roasted Garlic Bread Spread

Ingredients

  • 2 whole garlic bulbs

  • 2–3 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 2–3 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional but delicious)

  • 1–2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (or 1 tsp dried)

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning

  • Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes for heat

Instructions

1. Roast the Garlic

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C).

  2. Slice the top off each garlic bulb to expose the cloves.

  3. Drizzle with olive oil and wrap in foil.

  4. Roast 35–45 minutes until cloves are soft, golden, and buttery.

2. Make the Spread

  1. Squeeze roasted garlic cloves into a bowl.

  2. Mash with a fork until smooth.

  3. Add softened butter, Parmesan, parsley, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

  4. Mix until creamy and well combined.

3. Use It

Spread generously on:

  • French bread or baguette

  • Texas toast

  • Sandwiches

  • Steak, veggies, or baked potatoes

Broil garlic bread for 2–4 minutes until toasty.
