🥧 Easy Thanksgiving Pecan Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust (store-bought or homemade)

  • 1 cup light corn syrup

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 3 large eggs

  • 2 tbsp melted butter

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 ½ cups pecan halves (or chopped pecans)

  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven:
    Heat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Mix filling:
    In a medium bowl, whisk together corn syrup, sugar, eggs, melted butter, vanilla, and salt until smooth.

  3. Add pecans:
    Stir in pecan halves or chopped pecans.

  4. Fill the crust:
    Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie shell.

  5. Bake:
    Bake for 55–65 minutes, or until the center is mostly set but still slightly wiggly.
    (If the crust edges brown too quickly, cover them with foil.)

  6. Cool completely:
    Let the pie cool for at least 2 hours so it sets properly before slicing.
