1–1½ cups chunky salsa or pico de gallo (well-drained so it doesn’t get watery)
Layer 5 – Lettuce

1–2 cups shredded lettuce (romaine or iceberg)
Layer 6 – Cheese

1½ cups shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
Layer 7 – Toppings

1 cup diced tomatoes

½ cup sliced black olives

¼ cup sliced green onions

🍳 Instructions
1. Prep the base
Mix refried beans with taco seasoning.
Spread evenly in the bottom of a 9×13 dish or serving platter.
2. Make the creamy layer
Beat together sour cream, cream cheese, and taco seasoning until smooth.
Spread over the bean layer.
3. Add the guacamole
Spread gently to avoid mixing layers.
4. Add salsa
Spoon salsa or pico on top.
(Drain excess liquid before adding.)
5. Add lettuce
Scatter shredded lettuce evenly.
6. Add cheese
Sprinkle shredded cheese over the lettuce.
7. Finish with toppings
Add tomatoes, olives, and green onions.
8. Chill
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to let flavors blend.
