⭐ Philly Cheesesteak Bake
Ingredients

1 lb ground beef or thinly sliced steak (ribeye works best)

1 medium onion, sliced

1 green bell pepper, sliced
-
1 red bell pepper, sliced (optional)
-
8 oz mushrooms, sliced (optional)
-
2 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 tsp salt
-
½ tsp black pepper
-
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
-
6–8 slices provolone cheese
-
Biscuit or crescent roll layer (choose one):
-
1 can refrigerated biscuit dough or
-
1 can crescent roll dough
-
-
1 cup shredded mozzarella or provolone
-
2 tbsp butter, melted (optional for brushing)
Instructions
1. Prep the dough base

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Lightly grease a 9×13 baking dish.

Press biscuit dough (cut into quarters) or crescent roll dough into the bottom of the dish to form an even layer.

Bake 8–10 minutes until slightly set but not fully cooked.
2. Make the cheesesteak filling

In a large skillet, brown the beef or sear the sliced steak until cooked.

Add onions, peppers, mushrooms, and garlic. Cook until veggies are soft, 5–7 minutes.

Season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
3. Assemble

Layer provolone slices over the partially baked dough.

Spoon the cheesesteak mixture evenly over the cheese.

Top with shredded cheese.

Brush melted butter over the top if using.
4. Bake

Return to oven for 20–25 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly and the dough is fully cooked.
5. Serve
Let it rest 5 minutes before slicing. Enjoy!
