20 minute Homemade Bread

I can’t believe how quickly this simple bread comes together!
My grandma used to make a loaf like this every Sunday. The aroma would fill the entire house, and it was always the first thing to disappear from the table, especially with a generous slather of butter. It just brings me back to those happy, food-filled family gatherings.
Here’s how to whip up your own:
Ingredients:
* 3 cups all-purpose flour
* 2 teaspoons baking powder
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1 tablespoon sugar
* 1 cup warm water
* 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions:
* Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a loaf pan.
* In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
* Gently stir in the warm water and olive oil until a shaggy dough forms.
* Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for just a minute or two until it’s mostly smooth. Don’t overwork it!
* Shape the dough into a rough loaf and place it in the prepared pan.
* Bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until the crust is a beautiful golden brown and it sounds hollow when you tap the bottom.
* Let it cool slightly before slicing into warm, fluffy perfection.
This bread is so incredibly soft and wonderful straight from the oven. Who would you share the first warm slice with?
