Chocolate Pudding Cake

My mom used to make this for us on surprise rainy days, and the whole house would instantly feel warmer.
It’s honestly one of those “chocolate emergencies” recipes because it comes together so fast, and the smell… oh, the smell! It’s pure, molten chocolate heaven baking in the oven.
This hot fudge chocolate pudding cake is surprisingly simple but tastes like pure indulgence. The best part? It bakes right in one dish, creating this incredible, fudgy sauce at the bottom with a tender cake on top.
**Hot Fudge Chocolate Pudding Cake**
* 1 cup all-purpose flour
* 2/3 cup sugar
* 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
* 2 tsp baking powder
* 1/4 tsp salt
* 1/2 cup milk
* 2 tbsp melted butter (plus a little extra for greasing)
* 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously grease an 8×8 inch baking dish.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
3. Pour in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Stir gently until just combined – don’t overmix! The batter will be thick.
4. Spoon the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish.
5. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the cake is set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean. The edges will look slightly crisp and delicious.
6. Let it cool for a few minutes before digging in. It’s perfect served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
Who would you share this warm, chocolatey hug with?
