This recipe is so easy, you’ll be making it on repeat!
**What You’ll Need:**
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin, flank, or ribeye work wonderfully!)
  • * 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • * 1 tablespoon soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • * 1 tablespoon honey
  • * 1 tablespoon sriracha (or your favorite hot sauce)
  • * 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • * 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • * 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • * Optional: Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish
**Let’s Get Cooking!**
  • **Prep the Steak:** Slice your steak against the grain into bite-sized pieces. Pat them dry with paper towels – this is key for getting them nice and crispy!
  • 2. **Whip Up the Sauce:** In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, soy sauce, honey, sriracha, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  • 3. **Marinate (Optional but Recommended!):** Pour about half of the sauce over the steak bites. Toss to coat well and let them marinate for at least 15 minutes (or up to an hour in the fridge if you have time). Reserve the other half of the sauce for later.
  • 4. **Get Sizzling:** Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steak bites in a single layer (you might need to do this in batches to avoid crowding the pan and ensure crispiness).
  • 5. **Sear to Perfection:** Cook the steak bites for about 2-3 minutes per side, until nicely browned and crispy on the outside, and cooked to your desired doneness inside.
  • 6. **Sauce it Up:** Pour the reserved sauce over the steak bites in the pan. Stir quickly to coat them and let the sauce thicken for about 30 seconds to a minute.
  • 7. **Serve & Enjoy!** Remove from heat and serve immediately. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions if you’re feeling fancy! These are amazing on their own, over rice, or with a side salad.
