Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Mix peaches, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, lemon juice, and cornstarch.

Spread evenly in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.

1 stick (½ cup) butter

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup sugar

1 tbsp baking powder

¼ tsp salt

¾ cup milk
Instructions

Melt butter directly in the baking dish in the oven.

In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Stir in milk until smooth.

Pour batter over the melted butter—do NOT stir.
