Juicy, Cheesy Game Day Loaded Nachos

Juicy, Cheesy Game Day Loaded Nachos

Nothing says game day like a giant pan of cheesy, fully loaded nachos in the middle of the table. These are piled high with seasoned ground beef, creamy refried beans, two kinds of melting cheese and all the classic toppings. They’re ready in under 30 minutes and guaranteed to disappear before halftime.

Ingredients (paragraph style)

You’ll need 1 bag of tortilla chips, 1 lb ground beef, 1 packet taco seasoning, 1 (15 oz) can refried beans warmed, 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese, 1/2 cup diced tomatoes, 1/4 cup sliced black olives, 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños, plus sour cream and salsa for topping. This batch makes about 6–8 servings and takes roughly 15 minutes to prep and 10 minutes to bake (around 25 minutes total).

Method (short & clear – max 4 paragraphs)

Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it up as it cooks. When no pink remains, drain off the excess fat and stir in the taco seasoning (plus a splash of water if needed). Let it simmer for a minute so the flavors soak into the meat, then remove from the heat.

Spread the tortilla chips in an even layer on a large baking sheet or oven-safe platter. Dot the chips with spoonfuls of the warmed refried beans, then scatter the seasoned beef over the top. Sprinkle the cheddar and Monterey Jack evenly over everything so every chip gets some cheese.

Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 5–7 minutes, just until the cheese is fully melted and bubbling around the edges. Keep an eye on the chips so they don’t over-brown.

Pull the nachos from the oven and immediately top with diced tomatoes, sliced black olives and jalapeños. Serve hot with dollops of sour cream and plenty of salsa on the side for dipping. Perfect for sharing with the whole crew!
