Ingredients:
1½ pounds beef liver, sliced
1 cup milk (for soaking)
½ cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon garlic powder
2 large onions, thinly sliced
3 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
½ cup beef broth
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Directions:
Place liver slices in a bowl and cover with milk. Soak for 30 minutes, then drain and pat dry.
Combine flour, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder in a shallow dish.
Lightly dredge liver slices in seasoned flour, shaking off excess.
Heat 1 tablespoon butter and oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Fry liver slices for 2–3 minutes per side until browned but tender. Remove and keep warm.
Add remaining butter to the skillet and sauté onions until golden and caramelized.
Pour in beef broth, scraping the pan to deglaze.
Return liver to skillet, spoon onions over top, and simmer for 2 minutes.
Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
