Ingredients (Serves 2):
• 2 steaks (ribeye, sirloin, or your choice)
• 8 large shrimp, peeled & deveined
• 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
• 3 tbsp unsalted butter
• 3 garlic cloves, minced
• 1 tsp fresh thyme (or ½ tsp dried)
• 1 tsp fresh rosemary, chopped
• Salt & pepper, to taste
• Olive oil, for searing
Instructions:
1. Prep: Season steak generously with salt and pepper. Pat shrimp dry. Toss asparagus with a drizzle of olive oil, salt, and pepper.
2. Cook Steak: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add a bit of olive oil and sear steaks 3–4 min per side (for medium-rare). Remove and let rest.
3. Cook Shrimp & Asparagus: In the same skillet, melt 1 tbsp butter. Sauté garlic 30 sec, then add shrimp. Cook 2–3 min until pink. Remove shrimp.
4. Garlic Herb Butter: Melt remaining butter in the skillet, add thyme and rosemary. Toss asparagus for 2–3 min until tender-crisp. Return shrimp to the pan and coat in herb butter.
5. Serve: Plate steak, top with shrimp, and drizzle remaining garlic herb butter over everything.
Tip:
Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or crusty bread to soak up all the buttery goodness!
