Yield: 6 servings
Ingredients:
* 2 lbs baby potatoes, halved or quartered
* 14 oz smoked sausage, sliced into rounds
* 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
* ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
* ½ cup heavy cream or milk
* 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
* 2 tablespoons olive oil
* ½ teaspoon black pepper
* ½ teaspoon garlic powder
* Optional: chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
2. In a large bowl, toss potatoes with olive oil, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper.
3. Spread seasoned potatoes evenly in the baking dish.
4. Scatter sliced sausage over the potatoes.
5. Pour heavy cream evenly over everything.
6. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
7. Remove foil, sprinkle cheddar and mozzarella over the top.
8. Return to oven uncovered and bake 15 more minutes until cheese is bubbly and lightly golden.
9. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
Pro Tip:
For extra crisp edges, broil for 2–3 minutes at the end — just keep an eye on it so the cheese doesn’t burn 🔥
