Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 small onion, diced

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

1 cup sour cream

1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese (or Colby-Jack)

2 cups cooked egg noodles or sliced potatoes

1 cup frozen corn or peas (optional)

Salt & black pepper to taste

½ tsp garlic powder
-
½ tsp paprika (optional)

½ cup crushed crackers or buttered breadcrumbs (optional topping)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a casserole dish.

Brown ground beef with onion; drain excess fat.

In a bowl, mix soup, sour cream, half the cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Stir beef mixture and noodles (or potatoes) into sauce. Add vegetables if using.

Transfer to casserole dish and sprinkle remaining cheese on top.

Add cracker or breadcrumb topping if desired.

Bake 30–35 minutes until bubbly and golden.

Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
