1. Prep the dough

Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C).

In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in egg, vanilla, and almond extract.

Gradually add the flour mixture and mix until combined.
2. Shape and bake

Roll dough out to ΒΌ-inch thickness on a floured surface.

Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out shapes.

Place cookies on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Bake 8β10 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.

3. Decorate

In a small bowl, mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
