For the Glaze

1 cup powdered sugar

1–2 tbsp milk

½ tsp vanilla extract
🍏 Instructions
1. Prep

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
2. Make the Batter

In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.

In another bowl, whisk egg, milk, vanilla, and melted butter.

Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

Fold in diced apples.
3. Shape the Fritters

Drop large spoonfuls (about ¼ cup each) onto the baking sheet.

Slightly flatten the tops so they bake evenly.
4. Bake

Bake 10–12 minutes, or until lightly golden and cooked through.

Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.

Brush or drizzle glaze over warm fritters.

Optional: Return to the oven for 2 minutes to set the glaze.
