Ultimate Slow Cooker BBQ Pork Ribs
👉Ingredients:
↪️2 racks of pork ribs (about 4–5 pounds)
↪️1 cup of your favorite barbecue sauce
↪️2 tablespoons brown sugar
↪️1 tablespoon smoked paprika
↪️1 tablespoon garlic powder
↪️1 tablespoon onion powder
↪️1 teaspoon black pepper
↪️1 teaspoon salt
↪️1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
↪️1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
↪️Fresh parsley, for garnish
👉Instructions:
✅️1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
✅️2. Remove the thin membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor and tenderness.
✅️3. In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper.
✅️4. Pat the ribs dry with paper towels, then rub the spice mixture all over the ribs, coating both sides well.
✅️5. Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover them tightly with another layer of foil to trap in moisture.
✅️6. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, until the ribs are tender.
✅️7. Take the ribs out of the oven, remove the top foil, and brush the ribs generously with barbecue sauce.
✅️8. Return to the oven, uncovered, for another 30 minutes.
✅️9. In the last 10 minutes, switch your oven to broil to caramelize the sauce. Watch closely so they don’t burn.
✅️10. Let the ribs rest for about 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with extra barbecue sauce on the side.
