π Frosted Christmas Brownies
β Ingredients
For the Brownies

1 box brownie mix (plus ingredients listed on the box)
βor your favorite homemade brownie recipe
For the Frosting

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

3 cups powdered sugar

1β2 tbsp milk or heavy cream

1 tsp vanilla extract
-
Pinch of salt

Green or red food coloring (natural coloring works great!)
For Decorating
Christmas Tree Brownies:

Green frosting
-
Mini M&Ms or sprinkles (ornaments)

Pretzel stick (tree trunk)
Santa Hat Brownies:

Red frosting
-
Fresh strawberries, hulled
-
Mini marshmallows or white frosting (for the trim)
π Instructions
1. Prepare the Brownies

Preheat your oven according to the brownie mix/recipe instructions.

Line a 9Γ13 baking pan with parchment for easy removal.

Mix and bake brownies as directed.

Let them cool completely β very important for clean frosting!
2. Make the Frosting

Beat butter on medium speed until creamy (about 2 minutes).

Add powdered sugar slowly while mixing.

Add vanilla, milk, and a pinch of salt.

Whip until smooth and fluffy.

Divide into bowls if you want multiple colors.

Add natural or regular food coloring.
π For Christmas Tree Brownies

Cut cooled brownies into triangles.

Pipe green frosting in zig-zag lines or swirl pattern.

Add sprinkles or mini M&Ms as ornaments.

Gently press a pretzel stick into the bottom as the trunk.
π For Santa Hat Brownies

Cut brownies into squares or circles (use a round cookie cutter).

Pipe a swirl of red frosting OR place a strawberry upside-down on each brownie.

Add a small dollop of white frosting or a mini marshmallow on top for the pom-pom.

Add a white frosting ring around the base of the strawberry to complete the hat.
